In the last years we assisted the following EU projects during proposal writing (and some with administrational services):

Operation C02. A project in Spain where the idea of Integrated Land Use planning is first tested on 2 exhausted agricultural land sites and one Pyrenees forest location in Spain. The main aim is to show that more carbon can be stored while still increasing benefits for biodiversity and socio-economic circumstances as well. 3,7 Million Euro project with 7 partners from Spain and 2 from the Netherlands. Project runs from 2012-2017.

Montado & Climate; a need to adapt. A project in Spain and Portugal where no longer profitable cork oak landscapes (Montado & Dehesa) are being converted to profitable operations with equal benefits for biodiversity, climate and socio-economic circumstances. 3,5 Million Euro project with 17 partners form Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands. Project runs from 2016-2021.

Desert adapt. A project in Italy (Sicilia) Spain and Portugal where lands prone to desertification due climate change are being converted to profitable operations with equal benefits for biodiversity, climate and socio-economic circumstances. 3,7 Million Euro project with 20 partners form Italy, Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands. Project runs from Sept 2017-2022.

FarmLife. Farming the future. A project in the Netherlands. The ambition of the FARM LIFE project is to make a tangible contribution to a climate-proof Europe. The project takes the challenge to facilitate the transition from a landscape with conventional monoculture systems to a resilient landscape with diversified agricultural production systems, such as agroforestry. 2,4 Million Euro project with 7 partners form Netherlands and Belgium. Project runs from Sept 2018-2023.
