The
"Operation CO2" project is part of the European Union's LIFE + program. Its main objective is to
demonstrate the viability of forestry and agroforestry projects on carbon sequestration in Europe.
Although not yet developed in Europe, these projects could contribute significantly to the fight against climate change.
Over the life of the project we will aim at a) the conservation and management of forests and carbon b) integrated agroforestry practices,
both with new methods that are technically and economically viable. The project will be carried out in three different
regions of Spain and with a multinational team of 9 partners from three Member States (Spain, Netherlands, United Kingdom) of the EU.
The common denominator of both pillars explained below is to obtain carbon credits.
FSG is responsible for the complete technical implementation.

Similar to the EU LIFE+ project in Spain FSG developed a large scale integral agroforestry and
reforestation plan of 10.000 ha for Mexico (project region in Baja California.
This on behalf of the Mexican government and local partners. A business plan was written in 2012
and accepted by a consortium of various banks and investors. The project, named Legado Verde, is
now in a pre-start phase. FSG will coordinate the complete technical implementation.

As consultants to
CBI we are assisting the forest and timber sector in Bolivia to improve
their access to the EU markets. For this we are working with
Cadex,
Cadefor and the
Camera Forestal
besides many other stakeholders. The actual work consist of: Export marketing training, export product development, development of a
market information system (with local and EU info), development of a Sector Export Marketing Plan (SEMP) EU trade fair assistance and trade
missions, improve skills of local labour force, promote lesser known species and initiate and establish a working platform named the "Timber Task Force".

CBI we are assisting 17 companies in Bolivia to prepare themselvs
for export to the EU. The actual work in this large scale project consist of: Initial company audit, drafting of action plan with shortfalls,
seminar in NL, FSC certification, day-to-day technical assistance (2011-2014), business linkages in the EU, trade fair participation and trade missions.

FSG has good local counterparts in Bolivia. We are aiming to open up a local office. The first project,
