Valuing ideas for adding value to Land

You have a good project idea but you have no idea how to start? Or you know that a professional opportunity assessment is needed but there is not enough information available? Then our Project Idea service is something for you.

About this service

About this service Good projects start with good ideas. For LAND+ development, this means ceasing new opportunities for adding value to land. There are two possible routes. In some cases FSG develops its own project idea and then looks for potential partners for implementation. Alternatively, potential clients approach FSG with the request to develop their project idea into a viable proposal for submission to investors or funding organizations.

FSG’s expertise

Project Idea development is one of FSG’s oldest services . We developed an all-inclusive system with standard checklist and formats over the years. FSG also works in partnership with a number of excellent companies with regards to specific knowledge about one or more of our potential 20 different income sources.

Service aspects

Larger projects:

International aid donors, universities, private companies and other clients approach FSG for support in developing ideas into viable proposals. Right from the start, FSG often performs a coordinating role, given our broad overview, spanning the entire supply chain. This is particularly relevant in project with multiple partners united in a consortium.

Smaller projects:

Particularly smaller organizations in development countries experience difficulties with development of their project ideas. With their limited budgets, rejection of good proposals by potential donor organizations is felt much harder. Also, hiring specialized staff is more difficult. FSG offers free support in project idea development to private project initiators and small grassroots organizations around the world. For more information, visit our page 'Start your own project'.

Next steps?

After the project idea is ready an opportunity assessment is needed. Such an assessment will result in a business plan that can be offered to investors or funds.
